ABOUT ME

Kira is a clinical social work supervisee focused on creating a safe space and meeting clients where they are. Kira has experiance in evidenced based practices including CBT, DBT, ACT, motivational interviewing skills, and solution focused interventions. Kira also enjoys weaving creativeity into their practice through art, writing, and/or music; and is excited to begin exploring skills to integrate aspects of geek therapy. Kira has enjoyed working with a variety of issues and populations including LGBTQIA+ and identiy exploration, processing and developing skills to navigate trauma, mindfullness practices, and focused on goals and improving self-awareness.
