ABOUT ME

Hello! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Nationally Certified School Psychologist working in Aurora, CO. I worked in school in Illinois and Colorado for the first 20 years of my career, transitioning full time to Geek Therapeutics in summer 2024. I enjoy being able to connect with my clients on a deeper level than I could while working in schools. I bring a balanced approach that is designed to increase a client’s advocacy to work within school and community systems. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, bike, riding, reading, and playing games.

MY THERAPY APPROACH

By taking a client-centered, solution-focused approach, I work with clients to meet their goals and live their best lives. I am not play therapy certified but play therapy approaches do occur in my practice. I am dedicated in creating a neurodiversity-affirming space where every client can be themselves in the best way possible. I primarily work with children and teens, but am open to working with young adults and adults, if they are the right fit. As I believe that including client interests in therapy leads to the best results – I use anime, video games, and TTRPGs within my daily practice..
