Heather Eisenberg, LMHC, Certified Geek Therapist
Heather Eisenberg is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Credentialed Alcohol and Substance abuse Counselor. As a therapist, she works to tailor fit the therapeutic process to her client’s needs by individualizing treatment and utilizing innovative styles- such as therapeutic video games, acupuncture, and yoga as part of her approach.

I take great joy in connecting with nerd clients in nerd topics. Being a geek and talking about geek topics with others brings a sense of community and adds a layer of enjoyment to my work. I have with an emphasis in trauma and PTSD for veterans and first responders. I love that I can combine 2 of my passions and be therapeutic while having fun.

I have been working as a school psychologist for the past 15 years. I work specifically with elementary school students, addressing anything from Autism to anxiety. Rebecca is passionate about neurodiversity affirming approaches to therapy and a lifelong lover of geek culture, frequently blending these two passions to support clients in their journey toward growth and healing. As a play therapist, Rebecca believes emphatically in the therapeutic powers of play so is excited to be able to bring therapeutic elements of TTPRGs into the playroom! She currently facilitates several social skills groups utilizing D&D and is excited to expand into other TTPRGs for client care.

Antoinette Kalmus, LPC Intern
Using my previous career experience in nursing, education, and mental health coaching, I aim to help clients to find balance, peace, self-appreciation, and empowerment. We are all an intersection of our beliefs, values, and culture. By integrating these aspects into a resilient and consistent idea of self we can tackle all that life throws at us. Blending techniques from play therapy, narrative therapy, behavioral, and choice theories allows me to develop plans specific to my clients. I work with people of all ages and stages over the age of 13.
